7.5 ft. Polyester Hammock with Bolster Pillow in Cantina Stripe

I purchased this hammock with the stand on 06/15/2014. Received the packages 06/24/2014. I assembled the stand which was pretty simple. Adjusting the hammock was simple as well. Here is the issue. It is now 08/08/2014 and this hammock has faded badly. Was told that it was fade resistant but it is far from it. I called the manufactures customer service line as it states not to call home depot if there are issues. They told me that even though it was a defect in the fabric and that it was due to mother nature, that it wasn't covered under warranty. They offered me a replacement hammock instead for a unreasonable price. I had to keep the family happy so I had to purchase the new hammock. Very dissapointed with this product and do not want to see any one else make the same mistake I made. I do not recomment the hammock to anyone. Stand is ok but the hammock fabric is horrible.

Wood at the base came apart 4 days after I got this. I plan to box this up and return to Home Depot. It's a a beautiful hammock just poorly made.

This Hammock was a breeze to install and assemble. The instructions that come with it are subpar to say the least. I used to PDF file that is included on the product page on the website. It's very large and very comfortable. It is, however, very large (14' long) so you really want to make sure it'll fit in the space. The only complaint I have is that the picture shows a striped hammock, but when I received it, only the pillow was striped. Other than that, we are very happy with it.

Our first challenge came in assembling, in that it was easy, if you weren't paying attention, to put pieces together backwards (for instance, the legs to the bottom have a very particular orientation that isn't described well in the instructions). Secondly, the hammock is very long for the stand, and requires the use of almost no links of chain on either end in order to be tight enough not to be hitting the bottom when occupied. Lastly, the hammock itself is very absorbent, almost protective, of rain. We've come out several sun-filled days after rain and found water still pooled up in it and the hammock itself soaked through. But, with all that said, it's still a great looking piece, and a bargain price compared to retail.

The hammock is good but it came with no instructions!! There is some balancing ropes that can attach to it but nowhere does it mention them and it doesn't include the strings or little metal things to attach them. It was a MAJOR CHORE setting it up then we had to spend more money buying the extra rope and stuff to get it where it needed to be!! NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE!!!

Customer Service was great, I needed to cancel the order soon after I bought it on line as I found it for $100 cheaper. This gentleman was very patient and cancelled the original order and matched competitors price and placed another order while on the phone. Delivery was when it said it would be and kept me notified.

Nice but expensive. Good quality. Comfortable. Looks great. Heavy.

I purchased this hammock for the allergy qualities, and when we put it together, I was surprised at how beautiful the fabric actually was. The hammock is comfortable and weathers well. My husband loves it.
