Will this work with a Dewalt DD805? If not is there another product that will?
    ByAug 6, 2026
    1 Answer |
    Answer This Question

No — the Milwaukee 5/8" x 10" SDS-PLUS Ground Rod Driver will not fit the DeWalt DD805, because that model uses a different chuck/interface than SDS-Plus. This bit is for SDS-Plus rotary hammers only.

Please Clarify...The Home Depot site, clearly shows the 15" Extension can be used with chisels but according to the Milwaukee site (https://www.milwaukeetool.com/products/48-20-6951) it says, "Not recommended for use with chisels."

LIFE SAVER - JUST BUY IT
BUY THIS. I’m not a paid reviewer, but bought this chisel for tile and thought “man, this is too expensive,” but just used it to remove a linoleum floor in my basement. This thing cut like BUTTER. I would pay 10 times as much to save the painful time of hand cutting glued down flooring. This tool will save your life.

This scraper work well in removing grout and adhesive over a very large area and was small enough to get into tight places. My previous scraper finally started developing stress cracks. This scraper bolted easily to my root hammer and finished the job with no sign of wear.

                    Cracked blade
I bought this for tile removal in my house, and while it performed well at mortar removal, it cracked. For the price I was hoping to get more usage out the blade.

We’re sorry to hear your floor scraper blade cracked. That’s not the durability we expect from our SLEDGE™ line. Please email Social.media@milwaukeetool.com with your tool’s model number and a photo of the blade, and our team will review and help determine next steps.
Quickly removed VCT for commercial repairs. Worked as good as I expected with good precision attached to a Bosch Bulldog.

Ok I should have gotten this years ago. I had to put on some parking blocks and the rebar going into the asphalt was impossible to bang in with sledge hammer. I used this tool with my hammer drill and it went in like butter. Was done with 4 of them in 2 min. I would highly recommend this tool.

Tough and handled the job well
Used this to help break through the exterior block wall to install a window. Under the continuous use, it held up very well. The longer shaft enabled me to reach the back of the blocks easily.

                        DIRT WORTH
I bought this about 4 mo ago and did not use it much. Today I started planting some shrubs and I come across some filed stones that needed some "extra touch" 2 min problem solved than I noticed that if I use the chisel to soften the ground in is much easier to take the dirt out with a shavle. On 2 hole no even going in to stones just dirt the tool snapped in half. IN DIRT. I have my HILTI tools working for 25 YEARS with no issues and here we go that bid broke in dirt. Unbelievable and unacceptable. I have pictures but website will not let me to add pictures

                          It's so good
Yes, there is some sticker shock at first, but goodness is it worth it. I was helping remove tile that was placed on top of 60 year old linoleum flooring. Getting that linoleum and adhesive up was virtually impossible with any other tool. This scraper just peeled it off in 6" wide by 8 foot strips. It looked like a sharp hand plane taking shavings off hardwood. I was so impressed I stopped to snap a picture!

                            Very dissapointed
I’ve been using Milwaukee tools for years and havent had any complaint at all until now, as my rotary hammer drill was stolen a few months ago along with all the bits and other tools I was waiting to have a demolition work to spend the money getting a new one, is not a cheap tool so a few days ago I spent almost 1000 dollars getting the hammer drill and this thing that with taxes was exactly 200 dollars, this was supposed to make my work easy that day so it was worth to spend 200 dollars in this scrapper. Literaly after 15 minutes working and happy because it was actually removing vinyl like butter I saw a bolt flying and at that moment I didnt have with me an allen key and a wrench, why should I have those on me? I was simply removing a vinyl, I put it back as I could because is a safety nut so without tools and hot wasnt easy, I couldnt tighten it it though, five minutes later the rest of the screws were loose so I had to stop using the tool because didnt want to damage. If this is gonna happen there should be a big warning saying “dont forget to buy your wrench Milwaukee kit for the scrapper” or maybe sell this tool with the wrenches on the side, this is not supposed to happen after minutes of work, I understand checking torques once in a while but this? Is so frustrating, I had to finish without a power tool because didnt have any other appropiate bit so did it with a big flat bar, those who know flooring know what it means removal of a 50 years old vinyl by hand. Is so frustrating to spend this money and plan to work an hour and realizing that you just threw money to the garbage and had to work several hours. What happened with the QC this time? It says made in Germany I think. I dont wanna think that Milwaukee is lowering the quality of their tools
