Questions & Answers
Can the trim be rotated 90 degrees so it is elongated horizontally? What are the dimensions of the trim? (it cannot exceed a height of 2.75" for my door) Thanks!
No, the trim cannot be installed horizontally as the screw holes need to align properly for a full installation. If you have any other questions or require any further assistance, please call us at 888-805-9837 or email consumerschlage@allegion.com.
Can this be used as a dummy knob and install the two sides on two different doors without the latch? I do not see this style has a dummy knob option. thanks!
You’d have to drill holes in one of the plates, not sure how it would look.
You could use this as a dummy door knob if the door has bore holes drilled into it. The model # for the dummy style is: F170 SIE 716 AND. If you have any further questions please feel free to call one of our representatives at (888)-805-9837
