Can it be mounted directly to the wall or stud (without using the rail or wall slats systems)?
You could but there are better options if your not using the track.

I have a problem with FastTrack Garage Cooler Hook. It doesnt stay in place, move, falls off. Am I not doing something right to secure it to the rail ? Thank you
Mine don’t move at all. I do know I had to push them onto the rail pretty hard until it “clicked” into place.
The larger hooks clip in but the smaller hooks like this one just snap on.

Can I mount this on the concrete wall directly without the rail system?

Do these work in Rubbermaid sheds?
I am not familiar with the sheds. If they have built in ridges/tracks they should. I have mine on a separate track mounted in the garage.

Thank you for your interest in our product! The dimensions of the Rubbermaid FastTrack Garage Cooler Hook are 4.25" L x 3" W x 6.5" H.
This particular model of the FastTrack hook only hangs on the FastTrack rail. It does not have the snap lock system like other FastTrack options do. It does seem to fall off occasionally when hanging or removing items. There is however a screw hole. Was it Rubbermaid's intention that some sort of screw was to be used to hold these type of hooks in place? They do not come with such a screw and there is nothing in the videos about this. You can use a sheet metal or wood screw if the material it is going in is thick and strong enough. You can also use a machine bolt and nut with washers to support any thin material you are attaching to or some piece of wood for a support backing that will make any thin wall much stronger.
