Can I recycle my old lead acid battery at Home Depot?
Some automotive stores that sell batteries might charge you or pay you for the core and many metal recycling facilities will pay you by weight. I copied this from Home Depot's site. It does not say they accept batteries. "Car batteries are used in vehicles and some lawn equipment. Because car batteries contain lead and acid, you can’t put them in the trash or take them to the dump. They also are not accepted at most battery recycling collection sites. Still, you shouldn’t leave old car batteries sitting around your garage or storage shed. They can leak damaging fluid." "When you buy a new car battery, the store will often take your old battery. Even if you aren’t buying a battery, many auto retailers accept old car batteries. They will dispose of them properly. Your city or county may also offer car battery collection sites."
Can this be used in a golf cart
Depends on the cart for spacing but people have used 4 of these in place of 8 6v batteries or 6 8v batteries. When you do you will save weight but lose about 50% of your Ah so it won't go as far.
Does this battery come with stud adapters shown. How are they attached to the posts.
The flag terminal is perinatally attached and is not removable. It accepts ring terminals.
What type of terminal is on this battery? I'm trying to make sure I have everything needed to install 2 of these in a camp trailer.
It should take ring terminals and it should have the bolts nuts and washers. The hole in the flag is 10 mm so 9.5 to 9 mm bolts with nuts and washers should work if you need or want to change hardware.
Can this replace an IEB 12-120 sump pump backup battery ? If not can you suggest another model you sell that does?
It will work with your sump pump but 110 Ah is a little weaker than 120 Ah by about 9%. It will be hard to find a 120 Ah battery.It generally goes 110Ah then skips up to 135 Ah , with the 135 Ah going up in price and size. UB121100s get used in many sump pump systems.
Can this be used in a club cart golf cart.. 4 batteries are needed?
You can as a few use group 27 12 v batteries but if it uses 6 or 8 batteries normally you would save weight but you would have 1/2 the Ah of normal golf cart batteries which means less distance per charge
Can this replace the ryobi leoch battery? I will need to buy 4 and looking to spend less than $1000 total for the batteries.
No they are not the same size and the UB121000 is taller.
