Questions & Answers
Can this be used on outside ornaments? (or interior only?) (for painting bird houses)
Kathleen, This can be used to paint birdhouses, but it is not formulated to stand up to outside elements by itself. You will need to apply a water-based varnish or polyurethane sealer over it to protect it from weather. -DecoArt Paint Guru
does it give you a smooth paint feel or is it rough feel.
Mel, Once it dries, you will feel the texture of the glitter. If you want to achieve a smooth finish, we would recommend adding a water-based varnish over the Twinkles paint. -DecoArt Paint Guru
We use this product on our hand-painted ceramics and it goes on smooth and is beautiful. When dry it also feels smooth. We have used it for many years and it is the best.
The paint will have the rough glitter texture when dry.
Can this be baked onto glass for permanency?
Do you guys mix any of these glitter paints with gal. Special color paint I want
