The MILWAUKEE SHOCKWAVE Impact Duty Magnetic Nut Drivers are engineered with the Most Durable Magnet to withstand heavy duty applications throughout the life of the nut driver. The magnetic nut driver securely holds screws during application set-up providing unyielding bit engagement. Made from heat treated CUSTOM ALLOY76 steel to control hardness for extended bit life. The optimized SHOCK ZONE absorbs peak torque and prevents bit breakage. Milwaukee magnetic nut drivers feature a chamfered edge for maximum screw-head engagement while the improved hex geometry allows for the best fit and reduced stripping during use. The nut drivers also feature color-coded bands that aid with selecting the right diameter. Designed for use with bit holders in impact drivers and drill drivers.

                    Works great for hvac work, appliance repair, driving tapcons etc. Two bits and you have 90% of the hex fasteners you will find covered.

                    While in concept I like the idea but wonder how long there's will last on the job site before loosing one part or several parts. Anyway, these nut drivers are well made and do work with no problems. The heads are reversible so you have a little versatility with different size heads. They are color coded and after using them for a little bit the sizes are quickly identified.

                    Tight Fitting
                    For the types of repairs and work I do, having the right set of nut drivers or hex head drivers readily available is key. Enter the SHOCKWAVE set of Milwaukee drivers. In this package, you get two magnetic bits. One has a 1/4" shaft and the other has a 5/16" shaft. Then you get 2 socket heads, a 5/16 and a 3/8 to fit the 5/16" shaft. And a 1/4 and 5/16 to fit the 1/4" shaft. They are all clearly labeled and the sockets are color coded for quick reference. The heads on the shafts have a ball bearing locking mechanism which makes the connection tight. Very tight in fact. This is great to ensure that the socket stays on, but is a little frustrating when trying to remove them. Performance is top notch, as expected. It would have been nice to have one more size available instead of tow 5/16" heads, but nonetheless, a quality set.

They are an extremely versatile pair of nut drivers that reverse on the shaft to allow changing sizes without removing and replacing the unit in your drill. The quick clear feature prevents debris from clogging the drivers while in use. The color coding if each bit makes identification of the right one to use very easy.

                    Very handy
                    As a HVAC controls technician, having the most common hex head drivers on hand is a must. These work vey well and come in handy often when accessing components on rooftop units. I wish the heads were interchangeable with the magnetic shafts. Flip bits are the way to go and these are a good set to have in your tool bag. Because the heads are removable, metal shavings are easily cleaned off the magnets.

                    WOW. Great Nut Driver
                    Performs as stated without signs of wear or damage after several months DIY use. Mostly for installing support brackets. Easy to use and all it’s stated to be. Strong magnet holds very well. Used in both drill & impact driver w/o issues. Satisfied and recommend these tough versatile impact rated nut drivers.

                    Lots of options in a small package
                    Leave it to Milwaukee to come up with a product i never knew i needed, and then execute that flawlessly. The Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE Impact Duty Quik-Clear 2-in-1 Alloy Steel Magnetic Nut Driver Set (2-Piece) Is such a great pick up to my tool belt. These 2 drivers give me 4 different sizes to choose from. The reversible heads provide security with magnetic locks that hold your bit, or bolt, in place with much more force than i would have expected. The finish on the allowly steel is a black oxide that should prevent rust, and the individual fittings are clearly color coded and labelled to make choosing the right size easy. This has quickly become one of my most used tools!

                    Handy, Fits in a Shirt Pocket
                    I have several small nut driver sets, none of them impact rated. I elastically deformed and cracked some tools three weeks ago trying to remove 4 rusted fasteners on my SUV. One tool looked like twisted metal taffy. Another tool just cracked. Step in the Milwaukee Impact Rated #49-66-4565 Magnetic Nut Driver Set. It is a 2-in-1 set with two hex drivers and two double-ended sockets. One Hex Driver has a 1/4" head and the other has a 5/16" head. The Hex Driver Heads are magnetic and have a ball bearing socket lock. The Hex Drivers have a "Shock Zone" and are made of a special "Alloy 76." I have yet to deform or crack any of the various Milwaukee drivers or sockets I have in my collection. (I ended up using a cobalt steel drill bit and my bolt extraction kit to remove those 4 fasteners on my SUV.) Two Double-Ended Sockets are included in the Kit. The Red/Yellow Socket fits the 1/4" Hex Head Driver and the larger Blue/Yellow fits the 5/16" Hex Head Driver. To change sizes, just pull the socket off, turn it around, and re-install it (swap ends). The smaller Red Socket End is 1/4" and the Yellow is 5/16". The larger Blue Socket is 3/8" and the Yellow end is also 5/16". I don't know why they chose to have both sockets have a 5/16" end. These are convenient sizes for many fasteners, but I would have liked one more size instead of two 5/16" ends. This is a handy, likely unbreakable set that easily fits in a shirt pocket. 5 stars.

                    Buy the whole set, they are well made and have a habit of walking off over time. Plus great to have spares when assembling or disassembly.
