are louvers actually vented or are they solid with no air flow ?
Yes these are real stationary louvers that do allow air to pass through for ventilation.
I purchased a 32 inch bifold, my rough opening width is approximately 31 5/8. How much can I trim off the hinge sides to accommodate the opening.
Trimming not recommended. Trimmable 1/4 inch sides, top, and bottom (best from bottom).
Does this door include hardware
Yes all bifold doors come up with track and hardware needed to install.
Where should the pull be attached?
The handle can be put on either side generally near the middle of the door.
What are the drawbacks of NOT staining these doors?
You do not have to do anything you do not like!The doors will last for years not stained. Only drawback from not staining/varnish or painting would be keeping clean.not finished dirt will get into the grains and it will take a sand to get back new looking
