why no extension cord use
A 1500W space heater must never be used with an extension cord, power strip, or surge protector because these devices cannot safely handle the electrical load. They can overheat and create a fire hazard. For safety, the heater should only be plugged directly into a wall outlet, and only if the cord and plug are undamaged. Use of any cord‑connected device is considered misuse and is not covered under warranty. This safety warning is also stated in the manual, on the cord label, and on the product box.

Can this heater be used to efficiently heat a 10 x 12 greenhouse?
? Lasko products are designed to be used in dry locations within a residential setting. Our heaters are not rated for use in wet or damp locations. Use in that manner can cause the failure of the operation and potential safety concerns. Additionally, our heaters do not come with an IP water resistance rating so we would not recommend use in that manner.

At this time, Lasko manufactures units for residential use only, so specific sound testing in decibels (dB) is not required or provided.
Is there a setting where the fan is ALWAYS on circulating air and the heat just cycles when needed?
The unit offers three quiet settings: High Heat, Low Heat, and Fan Only. While the fan is not designed to run continuously while only the heat cycles, you can use the Fan Only setting to circulate air continuously. When you switch to High Heat or Low Heat, the unit will automatically cycle the heat as needed, but the fan will run in conjunction with the heating element rather than separately.
