Can this tube be used to cover a 1/2" pex line? If not, is there a chrome plated brass pipe that comes in 1/2" pipe thread that could be connected to a drop ear elbow in the wall or below the floor?
Hi CD - Yes, this cover tube is designed to fit over any 1/2” nominal CTS pipe which includes PEX pipe. We also offer 1/2 pipe nipples in a chrome finish. These are our 113 series pipe nipples, available in various lengths. You can find these by typing Brasscraft pipe nipples into the search bar at HomeDepot.com.
