I have now ordered two 36” downrod extensions and NEITHER has a threaded end to fit in the fan ????? The comments on this item say that one end is threaded, and it is not. Please help

Does the downrod have threads on one end? The short downrod that comes with the fan is about 13/16 inches in diameter and it has no threads.
No threads. It is just longer version of short down rod
Hello Bigfan, Monte Carlo uses a 1/2" diameter downrod that is proprietary to their fans. All finishes are available and they range from 12" to 72" in length.
