Questions & Answers
Is forest actually green?
Contact/Visit your local store for fabric swatch availability.
Is this Water proof or water resistant (there is a difference)
This is a water resistant awning. The fabric coatings allow for the water to easily run off of the fibers without absorbing the water and causing the dye to bleed. Because the water runs off and does not absorb or fall through as easily, the water can pool in the middle of the awning fabric and put pressure on the arms. Because of this, we do not recommend using the awning when it is raining outside.
Is the crank on the right?
The manual crank defaults to the left when facing the awning.
I have 4 inches below my gutter. Is that too little space to mount?
When mounting to the wall, you must have 10" of mounting space.
Why did customer support say this cannot be roof mounted? It says in the product description that it can be roof mounted. What is correct or do you guys not want to do your job?
This awning can be roof mounted. Check with your local store for accessory availability.
How much drop from the wall? If I mount it 8 ft high, what is its lowest when fully extended?
When fully extended out, the awning will drop approximately one foot. It has an adjustable pitch from 0 to 15 degrees.
Can this be mounted under eaves?
Yes, retractable awnings can be mounted on the eave with soffit brackets. Check your local store for accessory availability.
