I recently purchased Water Creation Carrara Marble Vanity, when we installed the vanity the Carrara Marble was dull, not shinny almost as if it had not been sealed. How do I get the marble to have a shine instead of the quite dull look it is currently?

Please kindly note that the marble countertop is sealed prior to leaving our manufacturing facility. However, we cannot determine the duration between production and delivery to your home; therefore, we highly recommend applying a sealer before using the vanity for the first time. It is important to remember that all natural stones -including marble- are porous and require regular sealing. To ensure the longevity of the marble top, Water Creation advises applying a sealer at least 24 hours prior to initial use. Home improvement stores can provide guidance on selecting the appropriate type of stone sealer. Depending on the intensity of use and the type of marble, we recommend re-applying the sealer regularly or treating the marble at least twice a year. Please be aware that even with proper sealing, there is no guarantee against staining or discoloration. It is crucial to take precautions and avoid direct contact between the marble countertop and materials known to cause staining, such as acidic fruits (lemon, lime), vinegar-based sauces, abrasive cleaning products, bleach, nail polish remover, and similar substances. How can we remove stains from liquid soap on the marble top? We bought it in October 2023.
Thank you for purchasing our Derby 24 vanity. We recommend the following method to remove minor stain from marble: Use either fine sandpaper or steel wool to carefully sand or buff out the stain. If using sandpaper make sure you select the correct grit or you may make more stain than you remove. If Gel Gloss is used, follow the application instructions on the package. Rinse the area with water. Dry with a soft cloth. Apply a marble polish to restore shine and protect the new surfaces. If the stain is only on the surface, they can sometimes be buffed out with a soft cloth and a good cleaning. Sand Paper - Sand with 600-1200 grit sandpaper on medium surfaces.
