The VDV110-095 Radial Stripper is not designed for RG58. For stripping RG58, please see the following: Klein Tools model # VDV100-801 Dual-Cartridge Radial Stripper and either model # VDV113-021 Radial Stripper Cartridge or model # VDV113-022 Radial Stripper Cartridge, depending on which style of connector you are using.

Can you safely use this on cat6 cables?
Nope, it won’t work for that
Yes, but if you have some scrap or extra pieces use them for practice. Strips the wire a little deeper than you may want rather quickly
This tool is intended to be used with coax cable, not cat5 or cat6 cable
The VDV110-061 Radial Stripper is designed for RG59, RG6, and RG6-QS. For stripping CAT 6 cable, please see the following: Klein Tools model # VDV110-261 Twisted Pair Radial Stripper Klein Tools model # VDV110-295 Combination Radial Stripper
It can be used on rg59 and rg6 coaxial cable (tv cable) but not Ethernet cables
Will this work on RG-142B/U or RG-400U?
The Klein Tools model # VDV110-095 Radial Stripper will not work for this application; it is designed to strip RG6, RG6-QS, RG59, RG11 and RG7.
The RG-142B/U and RG-400U have diameters similar to RG-6, so the 6/59 portion of this product should accommodate them.
