Questions & Answers
Does it work well in humid conditions?
How whiter Is this Glidden Pure white compare the Behr Ultra Pure White?
White base colors will vary from brand to brand and even within sub-brands. Your best bet to get a color match is to have it tinted at the paint desk.
Can I add color to this
Yes, this product is tintable. You can visit a tint desk if you are looking to match a color from a different brand or you can search by color name for colors in the Glidden Palette to find the listing for glidden premium in the color you selected to order online.
What type of paint do I use for baseboard heaters
Search Assist Use a metal primer and a paint that adheres to metal, such as acrylic paint, for baseboard heaters. Most baseboard heaters do not exceed 200 degrees Fahrenheit, so heat-resistant paint is not necessary.
It depends on the kind of baseboard heater you have. Please contact us at 1-800-441-9695 and we can assist with a product recommendation.
Can you mix a Benjamin Moore color such as White Dove OC-17 or China white in flat or matte
Yes, but this will only be available at the paint desk in store. Please bring the color name you are looking to have matched and just request at the tint desk to have that color matched in Glidden Premium. The closest color to White Dover in our Glidden color palette is Linen Ruffle if you would like to look for a close color to order online.
Can I make it off white?
Yes, this is a tintable product. One of our most popular off whites is Delicate White. You can search for that name to find a listing to order premium tinted in that color online for store pick up or delivery. Or, you can download the Glidden app to look at our full palette of colors to find an off white that works for you. If you have a color from another brand you would like to match you can visit the tint desk at store for assistance.
To use in a Wagner sprayer do I have to dilute it and if so how?
This product does not recommend thinning. ~To talk to a specialist, please call 1-800-441-9695.
