Yes, these knobs can be rekeyed. They use a Schlage "C" keyway.
Hello, This is a non-locking knob used best for Closet, hall and basement. So mainly it's a passage knob. You can check our Keyed Entry Door knobs.
This question has been asked before. Previous answers indicate that re-keying is not an available option for this lock.
No, this lock has a backset of 2-3/4 inches. A shorter backset is not available for this particular lock.
No, not unless it's the same make & model of Taco door knob as this, Model # DL-HVB70-US32D
Based on the unusual construction, I doubt it. A locksmith can probably replicate it.
It comes with a 2-3/4" backset. If you are wanting 2-3/8" it is possible to place your order then call in with a PO number and ask to make an adjustment to the order.
The instructions say so, but that wasn't the case with mine. Might be metric, but mine was about 2-5/8". If you're replacing an old residential lock, you might have to widen your holes a bit. I found no adjustment on mine.
