It is 15" maybe 15 1/8" I don't have my glasses with me. The camera will add a few inches to a wrench as it add a few pounds to us. But it is 15" at the longest points

Yes. It can be used for larger nuts, bolts, fittings, sink faucet nuts, etc. without creating teeth marks that pliers would. It will not however work with gripping pipes where pliers or pipe wrenches would be the go-to tool.
