Designed with quality aluminum and a steel base plate, the Callaway mailbox post offers durability and strength in an appealing pedestal style. Outside elements are no match for its beautifully crafted powder-coat finish. This patent pending post offers versatility, and can be installed by anchoring to a 4 x 4 in. ground post (not included) or by bolting to a concrete pad for extra stability. The post is fully adjustable to reach heights between 33 in. to 41 in., and the cast aluminum mounts can also be adjusted to align parallel or perpendicular to each other. The Callaway includes all mounting hardware and accommodates medium to extra-large size mailboxes to fit your needs.

I am buying the Oasis 360 locking post-mounted mailbox. It says that it needs a Code J post, but the picture it shows looks like it's on this particular post or a similar one. Is it possible to put it on this post even though this isn't a J-type post?
Yes! A few neighbors have successfully mounted the Oasis 360 on this post. They simply added washers for stability in attaching it to the post.

Yes. However, you will need to replace the included post bolts with Tapcon Heavy Duty 5/6 inch x 2 1/4 inch Concrete Anchors for post stability. You also need a rotary hammer drill to install the anchors.

Since I poured a new concrete base I wet set anchor bolts for a Simpson Strong-tie 4x4 post base and anchored the post separately. Then I slid the pedestal base and post sleeve over it and anchored it with hardware supplied. This made for an extremely strong installation. You can use epoxied anchors if concrete is already there.
