Questions & Answers
Will this fit a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan? This is the one that pops up from a search, and looks nearly identical, but the names don't match. It's the same twist on design. The width of the part that twists in is a little under 8".
Thank you for your question. As stated in the products page "Exclusively for use with the 56 in. Breezemore fan". Light kits have different globe connections some are twist and lock or with a hex and finial ect.
How do you unlock the glass bowl. Its either stuck or im not doing it right.
The glass bowl unscrews off. Gently turn with a little force if it’s on tight.
Thank you for your question. The light shade basically unscrews from the light kit pan. To remove the light shade, press up slightly and twist to remove. It may help to knock lightly around the edges (like knocking on a door) if the shade is stuck. If you have any issues with it, please call Home Decorators Collection customer service at 1-800-986-3460 and one of the team members will be able to assist.
Is there a way to change out these tiny bulbs? It says 14wt max but this fan was installed in a great room and now that its in it provides very little light. I'd hate to take the fan down and replace it. Also, other than saying 14wt I can't even find out what type of bulb it is
Thank you for your question. The bulbs can be changed to a larger wattage bulb. Each socket is rated for 60W maximum (if using incandescent bulbs), but the actual wattage of an LED bulb will be much less. The bulbs are standard bas E26 bulbs. In general a ceiling fan light kit is meant to be a supplemental light source used in conjunction with other room lighting like recessed lights or lamps.
