Do the hampton bay high impact resin floor registers come in 2in. x 10in. oak grain finish?yvo
can a hole be drilled in them? I have carpet I would think that they would need to be screwed down
Yes, you can drill holes in the plastic floor registers. This is a common practice when installing them over carpet. Screwing them down helps to secure them in place and prevent them from shifting or being lifted by the vacuum.
How do you measure for floor vents? Inside or outside? Inside seems to be 2 x 11 but outside is 4 x 13 1/2. So what size do i buy?
You measure your floor vent by the opening HxW the face of the vent can vary size.
Hello Gold1, As with all registers and grilles, the size goes by the duct opening that the registers/grille is going to cover.
