What are the hook dimensions? I'd like to add black hooks instead of the nickle ones.
The drill holes are approx. 1" apart

The front edge is 19.75" and the two sides are 6.35". The other dimension that will be helpful is the two rear sides that are against the wall and not visible. They are each 20.75".

Yes they would but its a corner unit so it would have to be a very large corner
No, they don't fit side by side very well. The depth of the hall tree sides is: 6.35". The depth of the 2 hook hall tree (model ESOH-0010) is 13"
Is the back panel solid and sturdy wood?
Yes it is. Back panel is actually relatively small. the main frame of the piece is the two side panels which is half inch thick plywood
The 2 back panels are made of laminated particleboard - the same as all the other components.

I didn't see any other components when looking for this piece as this is exactly what I was looking for. I don't have space on either side of the unit to put anything else. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
Unfortunately, the corner cabinet is not deep enough for it to work as a modular unit.
