Please note that our standard wall brackets are designed for installation on a building or home's fascia. Our retractable awnings require 9.5" to 10.5" of uninterrupted mounting space along the unit's full length. If you lack sufficient space for a standard installation, we also offer soffit/eave and roof brackets as alternative mounting options.

Regarding the slope of the awning, what is the amount of drop from the awning’s fixed end to the extended end?
The retractable awnings have a 0 to 15 degree pitch adjustment. When the awning is extended out, it will drop about a foot.
Do you need to plug into electricity.
Motorized retractable awnings have a 12’ long cord that plugs into a 110 outlet. The way to determine which side you would like your motor to be on, is if you were outside facing the awning.
Having the motor on the left vs. right side - is that looking at the awning in front of it (not standing with your back to the house and looking out)?
