Hello - can the auning be closed when not in use
The awning cannot retract. It stays stationary at all times.
Does this awning come in longer lengths?
Yes, 3ft - 10ft on the Home Depot.
Is the fabric flame retardant?
There is nothing in the product description to indicate it is flame retardant.
I see two versions of this awning with the same part number. I want the rounded corners with the white border. How do I select it?
Sahara (scalloped edging) is standard and so is a white trim. So you won't need do anything to get these options.
do these have any wind or snow withstanding info?
Hello jeri, Here is the information regarding wind and snow from AwnTech: "All stationary awnings have been engineered and tested to withstand Level 3+ hurricane winds and 100+psf snow loads." Yes. But we have changed some features since the last testing that make our awnings even stronger . Our last wind/snow load testing results were Level4 Hurricane + for windloads and 26psi for snow. Our new tests begin next month and we will post them to Awntech.com when they are finalized.
