Anyone who uses this for shoes, does it smell after a while? The or last cabinet I got with this design the wood or glue or something I couldn’t make it not stink even after I’ve removed the entire back and left it off so does this wood hold in any bad

Depend on size of shoes but comfortably 18-20. I use mine with baskets for organizing my upstairs area.
I have this cabinet and love it. I have 18 pairs of wormen's shoes in my cabinet. If they are low profile shoes and you stack them you could fit more it.
about 12 pairs. I do not recommend this product. It is cheap materials and the doors fell off.
