Does anyone know if there are replacement wheels and axel kit for this trash bin?
This is too new for us, but we have used several Rubbermaid products with wheels, and had to order replacements. Go to the Rubbermaid webasite and call the customer support number.

No. The lid doesn’t lock. If you wanted more secure you could use a bungee cord around it.

This container doesn't come with a locking latch. But...we have Home Depot! Quick and innovative work with a cordless drill, a bungee or a brass fitting of some sort...and your lid is locked! Half my take-home pay goes to Home Depot because I love to adapt, improvise, and overcome!

The lid is attached using a hinge. The hinge is secured in place using two plastic keepers that each have two Philips screws. So, if you want the lid off as I did, a couple of minutes with a #2 Philips screwdriver and you're done.
