The GAMA SONIC Baytown II Bulb Outdoor Solar Post Light / Wall Lantern now features our new utility patented GS Solar LED light bulb and is the perfect energy-saving and money-saving replacement for post-mounted and wall-mounted electric or gas-powered outdoor lighting. Enjoy a bright, beautiful illumination easily without the hassle of hardwired installation. Made from heavy-duty, weather-resistant resin, this fixture comes with all the hardware needed for three different modes of installation: as an outdoor wall sconce or on flat surfaces, such as pillars or columns; or as a lamp post light on top of a 3 inch diameter lamp post. Just set it up in the configuration you prefer, and the sun does the rest. Designed for dusk-to-dawn operation on a full charge, this fixture charges when sunlight hits the four integrated solar panels, which are protected by weather-resistant tempered glass and a cleanable plastic shield. At dusk, 11 warm-white LEDs turn on automatically and shine at 130 Lumens in a maximum illumination similar to the 360 light spread of a traditional incandescent bulb. GAMA SONIC's patented cone reflector also helps disperse an abundance of shine.

Baytown outdoor solar light need bulb
I bought one of these 8 months ago and it quit working. What is the warranty on this item? Any ideas why it would quit working?
The warranty is 1 year. Mine is 5 years old. I replaced the battery. The light bulb still worked, when I took it outside in sunlight the light stayed on, so it’s the photo cell that’s not working. They do not sell a replacement for the photo cell alone.

Where is the battery and how do you replace it
The battery is located on the solar top of the unit. There should be 2 battery doors on each side of the bulb. Note: The 2nd battery compartment is optional as the unit only requires 1 battery for operation. To replace the battery, remove the small scres in the battery door and unclip the existing battery.
How often should battery be replaced? Does 1000 charges mean 1000 days?
We appreciate your question. The battery replacement period is generally within 2-3 years, but can be up to five years.
The past three evenings I have noticed the light is not coming on at dusk, but comes on several hours later. My light has two batteries. What would cause it not to come on at dusk?
