Hi Home Depot Customer, Installing a blind base cabinet alongside a sink base cabinet requires careful planning to ensure proper door clearance and functionality. Because every kitchen layout is unique, it is recommended to consult with a Team Member at your local Home Depot in the Kitchen Cabinetry Department to review your specific site specifications and project needs. To assist with your installation, consider these general steps: 1. **Measure and Plan**: Ensure you have accounted for the necessary filler space. Blind base cabinets require a filler to provide proper door clearance so that the door can open without hitting adjacent hardware or walls. 2. **Positioning**: Place the sink base cabinet and the blind base cabinet in their designated locations. Ensure they are level and plumb before securing them. 3. **Securing Cabinets**: Once positioned, clamp the face frames of the cabinets together. Drill pilot holes through the face frames and secure them using cabinet screws. 4. **Install Filler**: Install the required filler between the blind base cabinet and the adjacent wall or cabinet to ensure the door has enough clearance to open fully. 5. **Countertop Installation**: Once the cabinets are securely installed and leveled, follow your countertop manufacturer's recommended methods for installing the countertop.
