How much would I need to make a single line of rocks about 22 feet long? I want to use them to outline something

This item is sold by weight. The number of individual rocks will vary from bag to bag. The stones are natural so each will be slightly unique in size and shape.

How many rocks are in each bag?
Not that much if you are looking for sqft filling but it can be done by buying more bags as you go. The bag is around 5 inches of filling, you may extend a little bit.
As the stones vary in size - an exact count is not available. The bag is sold by volume. The .5 cu ft bag will cover an area 3'w x 2'w x 1" thick.

How many bags to a pallet?
This item is sold as individual bags. Typically orders totaling over 400lbs will be shipped as LTL freight on pallets. Orders under 400lbs will be shipped as individual parcels.
I followed the instructions on website to determine how Many bags I need which was perfect. 19 bags!!
Why does it say rock size large, 2-4 inches, but when I add it to my cart it says small .75 to 1.5 inches? Which is it?
It is 2-4 inches is the average rock size. It doesn't cover well since the rocks are larger, if you want 2 inches thick, that is only 1 rock on the ground. there will be gaps so you need more than you think. Hope this helps.
These stones are 2-3" based on width ( narrowest side). We will look into the cart issues.

What's a ballpark figure of how much would I need if I'm putting this AROUND a 12'x24' pool at 2 inch deep? I'm confused at how to figure this.
follow the instructions for ordering on the webpage where the rocks are sold. then double it because they are wrong. lol.
Each 40 lb bag will cover approximately 3 sq ft at a depth of 2 inches. The amount of bags needed for your project would also depend on how wide of a border around your pool you would like.
