What is the actual length of the sole of these? I do not want to know what size shoe they are supposed to fit, because I have already found out that is not accurate, but what is the actual length. Thank you
13" They are really easy to get on and off. I bought them mostly to use at home, but they scare the hell out of my cats.

I thought medium would be big enough, because the pictures show the covers on boots, and medium is good for up to size 10, and that's what I wear. Medium is not even big enough for my sneakers. So what size do I need if my boot is almost 13 inches long?

What size shoe does the large fit?
At least a male size 11 and female size 9. There is room for a larger size but not quite sure how much more.

Does "X-Large" fit men's size 12 shoes?
My orthopaedic boot is approximately 12" long and 5 + inches wide, if your size 12 shoe is within that dimension that should work for you.
The shoe covers are 16 x 1.5 x 7.5 inches and users report that they work with a men'z size 14 boot.
