How to connect 5/16 cable more than 75 ft? In addition to the 75 feet 5/16 cable, I also have the 50 ft 3/8, but it is too big for 1 1/2 pipe turns. Please help!
Hi there! You need to use the Pin Key to release interlocking cable connectors. This works with our drum and sectional drain cleaning cables. A replacement Pin Key is available, search for product #48-53-2829. Additionally, our 3/8" x 50' Inner Core cable (48-53-2773) is intended for pipe sizes 2"-3". We suggest 5/16"x75' Inner core cable (48-53-2772) for pipes 1-1/4" - 2-1/2".
The Milwaukee representative has no idea what is the problem I was talking about. I have the pin key, the flex end of the 75 feet 5/16 cable is fixed, then how can you use the key to detach the head of the 5/16 cable. My question is how to connect a 2nd 5/16 cable when my 75 feet 5/16 cable is not long enough but 3/8 cable is too stiff to go through like 1 1/2 pipes.
The cable i got with my m18 snake doesnt have an attachment end for the medium 5 piece attachment kit i bought. Does this have attachment end for different heads?
The picture is not right. One of the pictures below is right. The end is a fixed flexible head, which is good enough for any pipes 2 inches and below.
