This multifunctional plumbing tool is ideal for under-sink faucet installation and removal and is compatible with common faucets, shut-off valves, supply lines, and basket strainers. The six-sided cubed wrench insert works on 5/8-inch, 3/4-inch, 7/8-inch, 15/16-inch, and 1-inch nuts and is ideal for use with supply lines, clamp nuts, and turning angle stops without marring chrome finishes. The cylindrical insert with a 5/8-inch deep-welled socket end accommodates most single-hole faucet mountings and features a pronged retainer end that holds 3 or 4-slot strainer baskets in place while removing or installing the strainer nut. I'm interested in catalog #57003, but when I click the link to retailers to purchase I find they are selling catalog #56988. Why, and what is the difference?
The #57003 and #56988 are the same tool. The catalog number is different because of the packaging for store sale versus the sale in distribution.
Hello, I purchased one of these and was using it to remove a sink strainer basket and 2 of the 4 tabs broke off when I was using it to remove the strainer basket. Am I able to get a replacement of that part of the tool?

Will this tool work for tightening toilet tank to bowl nuts? The access to the nut is in tight space with a porcelain lip around the bolt.
Hi JMMB, The EZ Change is not specifically marketed for toilet tank - to - bowl nuts. It works on common nut sizes (5/8", 3/4", 7/8", 15/16", and 1") However, toilet tank-to-bowl nuts are usually larger and often require a deep socket or a specialized wrench because they sit in tight spaces and may have unique shapes. The EZ Change tool is not specifically marketed for toilet tank-to-bowl nuts, and its size range (up to 1") might be too small for some tank bolts, which can exceed that diameter. If your nuts are within 1" and accessible, it might work, but for stubborn or oversized nuts, a basin wrench or a dedicated toilet wrench would be more reliable.
