can this curtain support extremely wide single curtain pain for a patio sliding door
Dear BlueNote. The maximum weight capacity of this curtain rod is 39 lbs. Please note, however, that the rod includes a middle support bracket, which may obstruct movement if you plan to use a single curtain panel across the entire length of the rod.
Can I purchase another inside rod? I don’t need the outer rod, just the inner/smaller rod.
Dear SloRay, unfortunately, we do not sell the inner rod as a standalone product.
Can this be hung outside?
Dear Madeline. Please note that this rod set is not designed for outdoor use, so we do not recommend using it for that purpose
What is the smallest bracket projection for this rod?
Dear Kmc1207. The minimum projection is 4.51".
Are the finials removable to be replaced with different finials?
Dear Nicole. Yes, it is possible to remove the finial. You just have to replace it with screw-in finials suitable for 1" telescopic rod sets.
Threw away instructions. How do I use the 3rd pole to better support the other two poles that seem to sag a little because of the length of the window treatment?
Dear Paul. The instruction manual is available online. Please scroll down on the website and you will find it under "Additional Resouces / From The Manufacturer". The two outer rods needs to be the larger 1" diameter rod and the center/inner rod need to be the smaller diameter 6/7" rod. The finial can be removed from the 6/7" rod and then be attached to the 1" rod.
Can you create an 84 inch rod and lock that length into place so it can stand upright?
Dear Marsha. This telescopic rod is designed for curtains and are thereofore installed horizontally. It would unfortunately not be suitable to stand upright for other purposes.
Do the finials not have rubber on the outsides?
Dear Ashley. No, there is no rubber on the outsides of the finials. This is not necessary.
