This high-output flood light secures commercial or residential space from dusk to dawn with 5000 Lumens of 4000K bright white light. Perfect for barns, warehouses, loading bays, driveways and dark rural settings, the fixtures heavy-duty, die-cast aluminum housing is watertight with a corrosion-resistant finish to last more than 50,000 hours of maintenance-free use. Photocell sensors automatically turn the light on when it gets dark and off at daylight. Hardware for mounting the fixture to a wall or pole is included. The 40-Watt LED uses 85% less energy than standard 70-Watt metal halide bulbs, saving more than $40 annually on utility bills well beyond PROBRITEs 5-year warranty.

Is the photocell only for it to turn off and on with the sunlight? I want to install this light on a post with a light switch, do i still have to plug in the photocell for it to work?

Would this light be a good fit for lighting a small parking lot. If so, what height of pole would you recommend?
Hello Lyle, yes this product would be a good fit for a small parking lot. We'd advise mounting it between 12-15ft high. It is designed to mount to any flat surface or to a round post as well. We also sell an area light mount 24-inch extension arm that can further extend the reach of the light.
