Questions & Answers
Can this b installed n showers
Hi Boyd, yes, these panels can be installed on shower walls. The PVC material is waterproof, but the completed panel system is not watertight. Install the panels over a properly waterproofed shower substrate and seal all seams, edges, corners, and plumbing openings with bathroom-grade silicone. We do not recommend using these panels inside a shower niche, where water can collect.
Can these be cut if needed for sizing? If so, what is the best tool to use to cut them?
Hi Andrea, yes, these panels can be cut if needed to fit your space. They are designed to be lightweight and flexible for easy customization during installation while still providing a durable, water-resistant surface. For best results, you can use a fine-tooth hand saw, utility knife, or a jigsaw to make clean, precise cuts depending on your preference and the type of cut needed.
What is the edge channel called
Hi Laura, the finishing piece you’re referring to is called the edge trim channel. It’s used to give the panels a clean, finished look along the edges and to help secure them in place.
Can this be painted?
Thank you for your question. Yes, these PVC wall panels can be painted if you’d like to change the color. For best results, we recommend lightly cleaning the surface, using a primer designed for plastic/PVC, and finishing with a high-quality acrylic or latex paint. This will help ensure proper adhesion and a durable finish.
