Hello, thank you for your interest in NewTechWood! No, this trim is specifically for siding. For joining deck boards, you are able to butt them next to each other but only for the perimeter boards. For the body you would use either the hidden fasteners or face screw if you're using our square edge boards. Below I have included our installation guide to further assist. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact us directly. Thanks! https://www.newtechwood.com/pdf/Decking-Installation.pdf

Hello! Thank you for your interest in NewTechWood. We cannot confirm or deny if our material works with another company since it has not been tested with James Hardie. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us directly. Thanks!
Siding can be installed Horizontal and vertically.
These are sold per piece, not per box.
We do not recommend painting our material. It is a mixture of plastic and wood fibers. This will not allow any paints or oils to stick to our material.
The UH50 is made to be used in concert with the European siding. We would recommend using the US73 as a substitute for the UH50 if you are using either of the European siding boards. The trim you have in question is the US44 and would be the recommend substitute if you are using the All-Weather siding system. If you would like more clarity on this, feel free to give me a call at 832-324-2806
