The 18-Volt X2 LXT Brushless Power-Assisted Hand Truck/Wheelbarrow is a convenient solution for material transport on job sites. You can use 1 or 2 Makita 18-Volt LXT batteries: Use one 6 Amp hour battery and get up to 60-minutes of run time under load. For longer run time, drop in a second LXT battery and double the run time (batteries and charger sold separately). Makita brushless motors are engineered for up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed, and longer tool life, and the Hand-Truck/Wheelbarrow has a Makita-built BL Brushless Motor that provides high power efficiency for transporting up to 300 lbs. of material on job sites. It has 2 speed settings, with a maximum speed of 2.5 MPH on a 12° incline. For versatility and convenience, the wheelbarrow is reversible with side rails on the flat bed for easy up and down installation. Additional accessories include a steel tube flat bed and steel bucket (sold separately). For added convenience, the rear wheels adjust from 19 in. to 30 in. to accommodate the work environment, and can also be detached and replaced with easy-installed L-shaped legs. LED lights are located on each side of frame help illuminate the work area. The Power-Assisted Hand Truck features Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), engineered for increased dust and water resistance for operation in harsh job site conditions.

Will this move on beach sand without getting stuck

Why have a wheelbarrow with the barrow? And especially csting this much and having to uy the barrow separately is absolutely absurd especially for the price on this barrow

Will my current wheelbarrow bucket attach. Does this have standard wheelbarrow attachment points or is this different?

This tool is ideal to be used with the Makita steel bucket part number 198494-2 or a flatbed pipe frame part number 199116-7. Makita does not recommend using accessories on tools other than those specifically designed for.
Does this have a hand brake? the power assist is great for going uphill, but what about downhill with a heavy load?
Thank you for your question on the XUC01X1 wheelbarrow. This tool does have a hand break with a 7" mechanical disc brake for faster stopping for the downhill applications.
OMG how lazy can you be?, this just makes me laugh.
I am 76 and just finished installing a 1000 sf of sod by myself. That was after spreading five yards of top soil. The big issue was that it all had to be unloaded at the street and moved over 120 to the area to be installed with an incline of 15ft. Lazy?
