Galvanized Steel is iron that has been through the chemical process called galvanizing that protects steel from rust and corrosion. During this process steel is submerged in molten zinc at temperatures greater than 800°F Zinc permanently bonds to steel and becomes a shield for the iron. What is Powder Coating. Powder coating is the technique of applying dry paint to an item under high heat. The item is placed in an oven and heated to temperatures that range from 300°F to 400°F (depending on the powder) before the coat is applied. When powder coated items are installed correctly and well maintained, they should be permanent. Unlike conventional paints, powder coated paints will not peel, chip or crack.

how do I buy 2 of these --dont I need a center post?
Hello, no, you do not. The idea is the first set, or the first panel will be attached to an existing fence or gate, and the post will go on the end of the panel, and then you would attach the second panel and so on.

1.) The images of the fence sections show a post on each end, however the description states that there is one post. Which is it? Same for the 4 Fence section kits, each fence section image shows 2 posts for each of the four sections.
