The quality of the leather used on the chair is a little lower than I would expect for the price, but my overall experience with the chair is very satisfied. Comfortable, wide, sterdy and I love that it tilts. Would definitely buy another one or recommend it to anyone.

CONS: Assembly was a bit of a chore because two of the screws would not go in (bolt hole too tight and the leather is not hemmed around the screw holes allowing the leather to catch while attempting to screw in bolts. I am 5' 5" tall and there is but a sliver of room between the top of my thighs and under of my desk (the chair won't lower any further), if I was a tiny bit bigger of a person my legs would not be able to go under the desk. Quote "puffy cloud-like comfort, comparable to a giant hug": Not even remotely close. Extremely upset about this as I have a bad tailbone and needed "puffy cloud-like comfort, comparable to a giant hug". In fact this chair is quite stiff / hard. Not at all impressed with the "Bonded Leather", cheap and no better than synthetic leather (pleather). Arms that raise shake on post (stem). PROS: All metal is sturdy, thick and heavy. Lumbar is good out the box. CONCLUSION: I do NOT recommend this chair for someone that is not tall, and or wide. Your toes will be the only thing touching the floor and the arms will be far from your body (not a "natural" sitting position for a shorter, thinner (fat) person such as myself). At 240lbs I can easily sit "Indian Style" in this chair to give an idea of just how wide this chair is. In all this chair is NOT even close to being worth $286 + tax $307.00 Sorely disappointed, because I haven't found anything better and I need this chair that can hold up to 400lbs. Standard chairs weight capacity is 230 or less lbs.
