Can this mirror be hung using command strips? Meaning that the back surface is completely flat and solid and there is no lip that would hinder the strips. The area I want to hang it has some live wire and metal behind the wall.
Yes, the back is solid and it is light enough to be held up with command strips in my opinion.
We do recommend hanging this mirror using the attached hanging hardware. However, if you are unable to, this mirror could be hung using command strips. The back is flat and the mirror is not too heavy, only 9.92 lbs.
The back surface is completely flat, but there is hardware attached with wire for hanging the mirror. You may need to remove the hardware to make it work for what you want to do.

I personally wouldn’t hang it with command strips. It’s pretty heavy. I used a molly and screws to put it up. With that being said the back of the mirror is completely flat and it does have a hanging wire already installed on it.

The trim is two thin pieces of wood glued together to make it a thick trim. With the mirror I bought the two pieces were separated when I opened the package and the back paint was chipping in that spot. I bought a second one and it was the same thing when I opened it.
This product is well built and steady, I will recommend this product to anyone.

Yes, it was very easy to install, very lightweight so no pesky hardware onto drywall only a 50lb self anchor was used.
