- Blinds and shades provide different looks and ambiance for your room. Blinds offer a vertical or horizontal option in a variety of materials from wood to vinyl. Blinds tend to provide better light control and privacy, as they are a hard window treatment, versus shades, which are a soft window treatment. Shades come in an array of colors, fabrics and designs as well as light filtering and blackout options. They provide natural lighting for your room and offer an additional design element.

Questions & Answers
The shear part will not stay all the way up without the black out section with it. Is this correct
Thank you for your interest in Home Decorators collection window treatments and taking the time to reach out. This is correct, the middle rail connects the blackout section, this piece cannot be separated.
This blind comes with a location/mount for two handles but the blind only came with one. You need two to operate the blind properly. When I took the blind back to HD they said they couldn’t help me. I need a handle These are all unique to Day night blds

The window opening is 29-1/4 inches. What is the product width?
Thank you for your interest in Home Decorators collection window treatments and taking the time to reach out. Kindly note the item description will also show the actual size. If a 29.25 is ordered the actual size is 29.
I'm thinking of purchasing the 72 in. length. Can someone tell me how deep the stack is when it is fully open. Trying to determine valance height to cover.
I think this product is exactly what we have in one of our rooms (although ours measures more like 75" long, so not totally sure). The stack on ours when fully open is a mere 5.5" from the top of the headrail to the bottom of the bottom rail.
Thank you for your interest in Home Decorators collection window treatments and taking the time to reach out. Kindly note valance is not available for cellular shades.
On the width what size are you asking for the total of opening
Thank you for your interest in Home Decorators collection window treatments and taking the time to reach out. For Inside Mount Installations (Inside the window frame) – Order your exact window size. 1/4 in. deduction will be taken on the width for a precise fit inside the window frame.
Does the top have shear fabric when top down
Thank you for your interest in Home Decorators collection window treatments and taking the time to reach out. The sheer fabric will be at the top and the room darkening at the bottom.
My window is 50 inches in height. Is the 48 inches exactly 48 inches, including the bracket? Thus, should I buy the 48 in or the 64 in
Hello, Thank you for your interest in Home Decorators collection cordless cellular shades and taking the time to reach out. Yes the 48" is exactly that size from top of the headrail to the bottom rail. AG
Any way to mount using side mounts? I only have the ability to screw mounts in from each side, nothing in the middle as my window is arched and there is no way to screw any mount in the middle.
Thank you for your interest in Home Decorators collection window treatments and taking the time to reach out. Kindly note cellular shades will be received with a top mount bracket only. Side mount is not available for this style.
