We had an ice storm that knocked out power for 10-days and I discovered we still had fiber internet and I used my older RYi150BG to power our internet gateway and WiFi for about 4-hours per 4ah battery.

            (1)

Brian, Your router’s nameplate indicates its power requirements. Typically in the 15 - 30 watt range. Using a 4ah battery, expect 30 minutes at full (150W) load. For 15 watts, anticipate 6 hours or longer, which fully depends on battery health and charge.

Marc, You can often find the battery powered Ryobi drill drivers on sale (tool only) for about the same price as this inverter. I now only use a corded drill for high torque applications such as spade wood bits or mixing self-leveler compounds.

I loved this battery inverter, it is simply a wonderful tool that allows you to utilize your Ryobi batteries and draw power from them for charging your iPhone, iPad, or any device that you can simply plug-in. There are definite advantages to using this, because I always have Ryobi batteries that are charged around the house, and I no longer need to worry about my phone running out of power. I fully recommend this product, I think it’s a great tool to have for emergencies or any situation where you’re not sure you will have an available outlet.

Small, practical inverter. Dont expect much
I bought it for my 3-day camping trip. I used a 4ah HP battery to charge my phone, ipad and powered a small portable fan. The 120v outlet on this thing has a pretty low capacity at only 1.25A. I could use it to power my small dell 13inch laptop, however it will trip if i plug in my 140W multi-port charger. 1 port charger is fine but double or more multiport charger will trip this inverter even though I only use 1 port to charge 1 device at the time. I decided to returned it and get a bigger inverter.

                          Electric Power
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect item to use at my small natural spring at the far end of my property. With this power source, I can now drop a small pond pump into the deep hole of the spring. Dropping the hose into spring, I can pump the water out into 5 gallon buckets and use the water to water all my trees, plants snd flowers. The use of this spring water, will save me $$$ on my water bill.

This is the second one of these that I had returned because when attached to a fully charged battery it was unresponsive. Even attached to a new solar panel no lights lite up.

Two USB ports and a 120V plug-in?? Nice!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this inverter as a way to utilize my Ryobi batteries during a power outage, and am so glad that this product was made available to us! Plus it’s great for charging phones and other small DC devices while being out in the wilderness without having to waste gas running my vehicle. The one downside is that it does not provide enough wattage to operate my wife’s flat iron, but she’s still beautiful! I do wish that the inverter had enough power to operate my miter saw.

                                LIFE SAVER!
This product is a lifesaver!!! We had a recent power outage and both my wife and my phone had low battery. We had no lights so the light on the unit helped and we were both able to charge our phones. I always have multiple RYOBI 18v batteries charged so when one battery would die I would swap it! My son was able to charge his handheld gaming system and we were able to survive the power outage! I bought this unit for this EXACT reason and I’m so happy I had it in my tool box!

                                  Good for what it is
This WAS not part of a paid promotion. This is a handy device for what it is. It should work out well for you if you have realistic expectations. It’s not going to power your fridge, vacuums, sump pumps, or power tools. It will charge your phone and run small appliances and lights. I was able to power a small desktop fan for 90 minutes with two battery life bars available. This will be nice for camping in hot weather. If you are trying to power larger appliances, Ryobi sells those, but this aint it.
