This thing rocks! I had another brand that was 3x the price and this thing is just accurate as that one! I’ll buy 3 of these all day to keep one at home, on the job site, and 1 in my truck! Super accurate and very easy to read! Find your angle and worried about losing it? Lock it down with the twist lock feature! This tool blows the manual ones out of the water… go digital!

This is a very accurate angle finder that will give you measurements to within 1/10 of a degree. It's good for finding or marking angles on woodworking projects, and the ruler is a bit of an added bonus. It's not really so great for transferring or making repeated markings. While it does have a screw at the hinge to tighten or loosen the tool, it can't really be tightened to the extent that a measurement is locked in place. So, if you're doing a job with a lot of marking, I would use this to find the appropriate angle on a T-bevel (like one of these: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Empire-True-Blue-Heavy-Duty-Aluminum-T-Bevel-132/202035310), and then lock the T-bevel in place. But for setup around the shop, or for hand-drawing plans, this is definitely a very useful tool.

This is a nice all in one tool with a 7 inch ruler and a 360 degree protractor. The rulers are stainless steel and should last for years. The display is easy to read and has a hold button to keep the reading while writing it down. There is also a adjustment knob to tighten or loosen the rulers. It comes in a nice fabric case with a belt loop on the back. This is a must have for finish carpenters, tilers, cabinet installers and countertop installers.

A handy good quality measuring device for when you need to measure angles. Quality stainless steel rulers. The digital screen for the angle measurement is easy to read. The measurements on the rulers are easy to read. A nice sturdy case for storage in tool box or you can carry on your belt. The instructions even fold up nicely to fit into the case. Powered by a common battery CR2032.

The Accumaster digital angle finder protractor and ruler is easy to use. It comes with a handy pouch that can either slip in a pocket or attach to your belt with a nifty Velcro option on the loop that does not require removal of your belt. It is intuitive to turn on and off and reset the reading based on your needs. As with any precision instrument, care should be taken when operating it to ensure it remains accurate. Made of stainless steel and plastic, it is obviously not indestructible, but will give quality service when properly cared for and used.

This digital angle-finder/protractor/ruler is a fine instrument, digitally displaying angles to the tenth of a degree...which is more accurate than it really needs to be for me as my woodworking projects tend to be fairly forgiving. With that said, I will use this to verify/adjust blade settings and angles rather than depending on the very course settings on my saws. I find the tensioning dial just fine to find and "lock" a position and the stainless rulers with both English and metric gradations very handy. Comes with a nice soft-protective case and instructions (although the markings make use very intuitive).

This is a great tool if you are working with odd angles and need accurate measurements. I was installing pine tongue and groove planks on an angled wall in my cabin. I used it so I could accurately cut the odd angles of the trim, The rulers are 7" stainless steel and they can be locked in place with a twist of the knob. The digital readout is easy to read. It also comes with a nice canvas storage case.

I got this because I have some upcoming projects that require more precision than the tools I had could provide and I knew an angle gauge was the tool I needed. I love that this is digital, you can't beat that for accuracy. And the fact that this comes with a storage case which also fits nicely in the original box will allow me to maintain this tool in the best condition possible for years to come. I can't wait to get started!

Comprising two seven-inch stainless-steel rules with a common pivot and provided with an electronic digital readout to tenths of a degree, this instrument will easily find the included angle (inside or outside) of two intersecting lines or planes. Powered by a single CR2032 lithium battery (supplied), the read-out device is provided with two push buttons: on/off-zero and “hold”. When the battery is low, the display will flash to so indicate. A mechanical adjustment is provided to increase or decrease the friction between the two movable ruler elements. Each of the 7-inch rules are supplied with metric and inch markings. One leg has 1/32 of an inch and the other 1/64 of an inch markings. Both legs are marked in mm. A soft case (with a belt loop and flap secured with hook and loop fasteners) is supplied to protect the device when not in use. While the display resolution is +/- 0.1 degree, the accuracy is +/- 0.3 degree, which will be quite adequate for many uses. While it is possible to use this device to transfer angles to, for example, fit moldings in odd corners, it will be of most use in the fabrication shop, to verify proper fit-up of elements prior to welding. This will be especially useful for fitting up other than square frames (parallelograms, for example) where normal tramming cannot be used. The display, unfortunately, does not “flip” when the orientation of the tool is changed, however the “hold” feature allows you to capture the reading and obviate the need to read the display upside down. The only other feature lacking would be a small pouch on the carry case to store a spare battery for when replacement is needed.

The AccuMASTER Digital 7” angle finder ruler made by calculated industries is a great general purpose angle finder with a digital display at an affordable price. Accuracy is great as long as you remember to zero the angle finder before use. The included instructions are easy to follow. This angle finder includes a carrying case for protection. I’ve used this tool already to set the angle on my circular saw, level a shelf- see picture and transfer angles to laminate flooring . I’ve found it easier to transfer the angles by zeroing the tool at the angle I need to transfer and then making sure the angle hasn’t changed when I transfer as the angle finder doesn’t lock in place.
