No, this is has a SDS+ connection on it so it will not work. SDS max bit is needed to fit on this combi hammer such as: item# 2184685 which is 13" long with 8" of working length or item# 2184686 which is 21" long and 15.75" of working length.

will this work in a standard 3-sided chuck 1/2" daimeter?
No, it will not. Because of the grooves and slots on the bit’s connection end, the chuck jaws will not tighten correctly and the bit will work loose. This type of bit should only be used in an SDS connection tool.
