Our Printed Room Darkening fabric is woven using a triple weave method which incorporates a dark thread between the front and back colored threads. This method gives this fabric it's light blocking properties. The darker the fabric the more light this fabric will block. Woven from 100% polyester.

Hello, We always recommend doubling the width. 2 50"W would cover the window, however when closed it will be flat and look as if a sheet was placed over the window. For that size we would recommend 2 panels of 100"W. Thank You, Half Price Drapes
