Can I purchase this with black frame?
This item is not available pre-finished, however, the material itself can be primed and painted whatever color you like when you receive it.
What is the best non fading paint to use on this product? We get full sun and want to paint it black.
Thank you for your interest in this product! We do not have a particular brand that we can say is the best a not fading. That said, what we recommend is using a high quality, exterior grade, 100% acrylic latex paint to finish the pediment. As well, be sure to use a paint that has a light reflective value (LRV) of 55 units or greater. Paints that have a low LRV are prone to absorbing light instead of reflecting it. This will result in the paint heating up the material which could create issues, especially if it is not installed properly. Behr and Glidden are excellent brands that should have paints that meet all of these criteria. Best of luck on your project!
