BEHR PREMIUM PLUS Exterior Paint & Primer is a 100% Acrylic, low VOC formula designed for a long-lasting finish that resists moisture, fading & stains and provides a mildew and corrosion resistant finish. It delivers exceptional hide and excellent touch-up while also providing comprehensive all-climate protection. PREMIUM PLUS is highly ranked by independent 3rd party labs and meets LEED and GREENGUARD GOLD requirements.

Can exterior paint be applied with a sprayer?

what is the difference between deep base and medium base
Hi Bill, thank you for your questions. The different bases are for tinting purposes, as different colors require an Ultra Pure White, Medium, or Deep Base. Is it okay to spray Rust Oleum clear laquer over this Behr black satin premium plus painted on wood?
Hi ggaa, thanks for the question. For a clear coating to go over our Premium Plus Exterior Paint, it would need to be a water-based coating that can go over a water-based Paint. What if I accidentally applied 2nd coat of black satin premium plus water based Behr paint after 1 hr instead of 2 (was applied thinly on smooth wooden box in garage w/ door partially open, 83 deg F, less than 60percent humidity)? Would it still peel?
Hi ggaa, thank you for your question. We recommend a 2 hour recoat time to ensure the paint can properly dry and build a hard finish. Applying the second coat before the recoat time may extend the dry time of the paint, but it's hard to determine exactly what impact that will have.
