Is the ice clear or cloudy?
Cloudy
Cloudy. I’ve never had clear ice except when putting boiling water in ice trays
The ice is clear but the actual machine gets very loud after a couple of months in use
How loud is it while running?
You can't hear it, only when the ice drops !
The one we bought did not work reliably and stopped working a couple months ago. I would not recommend buying this product.
Does it use tap water?
I use alkaline water but tap water is just fine

No not that I can see. Its got a standard 3 prong plug on it.
