I am having no luck trying to fit the blind into the clips. I've tried multiple times, but the clip is very stiff and does not flex. I've even tried using a screwdriver to depress the clip using the tab on the back. Am I missing something?

I had the same experience -- you need to angle the top front side into the bracket so that is in place, at about a 30-degree slant, and then push up the back straight into the back part of the clip. Don't be afraid to put the pressure needed, and you need to push where the clip is located. Hope this helps!
