Are there holes in the bottom of the saucer? Picture wasn't quite clear.
Thanks for your question! The saucer doesn't have drainage holes, however, the planter does. The saucer is detachable from the planter!
There are different numbers for the length and height of the black plastic planters. What is meant by height and what is meant by length?

Does this planter keep pets/birds from drinking the water in the saucer?
Hello! This isn't something we've tested, but encourage emptying the saucer for any liquid often if this is a concern.

Hi there! Thanks for your question. The interior dimension of the top of the 10" Saturn planter is 9.5 inches. It is approximately 7.75 inches towards the middle, and the base interior dimension is 6.5 inches. We hope this helps!
How do you water these? Can the plant access water from the saucer?
Yes! You can add water to the saucer (known as bottom watering, which is what plants prefer!) or from up top. Bottom watering allows easier access for plant roots to access water, but you'll want to empty the saucer after 30 minutes or so if your plant isn't utilizing the water. If you water from up top, it is best to temporarily remove the saucer after about 30 minutes. Both methods of discarding excess water help prevent root rot.
How much water do I need when using 2 25qt bags of miracle grow planting soil
The amount of water you need will depend on several factors, including the type of plant you are growing, the climate, and the specific Miracle-Gro Planting Soil you're using (e.g., Moisture Control, etc.). Two 25-quart bags of soil provide a significant volume, so start by adding water gradually and mixing it thoroughly with the soil. The soil should be moist but not soggy. You can check this by squeezing a handful – if water drips out, it's too wet. If it crumbles easily, it's too dry. It should hold its shape but not be saturated. For more specific instructions, refer to the directions on your Miracle-Gro Planting Soil bag.
How do I remove saucer? What are the 3 knobs inside the pot?
Very carefully! I destroyed 3 saucers on some 14.5 inch Saturn pots. You need to push on the plug from inside the pot while supporting it. If you try to simply tug on the saucer you will break it. I don’t think these were meant to be removable by hand.
The three knobs inside are part of the saucer included in the planter. You should be able to gently tug on the saucer to detach it. Hope this helps!
