Can this unit be installed outside I live in Florida and there's not a lot of room to put this anywhere else

According to APEC’s installation guidelines, whole‑house filtration systems such as the CB3‑SED‑KDF‑CAB20‑BB should be installed in a location that is protected from direct sunlight, excessive heat, freezing temperatures, and weather exposure. While the system may be placed outdoors, it must be installed in a sheltered area—such as under a covered patio, inside a weather‑proof enclosure, or within another protective structure—to prevent UV damage, housing degradation, and performance issues. It is not recommended to install the system outdoors, even in Florida, as exposure to direct sunlight, rain, and temperature extremes can damage the housings and components, and may void the warranty. If space is limited, we suggest considering installation in a garage, utility room, or within a protective enclosure that shields the system from the elements while still allowing proper ventilation and access for maintenance. DOES THIS FILTER CONTROL MANGANESE
Dear Mike, This is a very high quality filter setup designed for sediment, chlorine and chemicals. and general heavy metals reduction. Why is the flow rate for this system so low? Other systems of this type put out 12-15 gallons per minute. This one is rated at 1.6 gallons. Please explain that to me. Thanks.
Hello, from the manufacturer, the best level of filtration will happen at a flow rate of 1.6 gallons per minute. If you were to go over that rate, it wouldn't lower your water pressure in the home, but it wouldn't filter as effectively. The more contact time with the filter, the better removal of the contaminants.
